Structured data in two formats

Choose the input direction, paste one document and convert. JSON objects and arrays become YAML mappings and sequences; YAML becomes JSON indented with two spaces. Comments and original formatting are not retained, and date-like YAML values stay strings.

Supported data and limits

Only JSON-compatible data is supported. Custom executable tags, merge keys, cycles, nonfinite numbers and integers outside JavaScript’s safe range are rejected. Quote larger integers as strings. Input is limited to 200,000 characters; depth and expansion limits and a timed worker protect the page from excessive processing.
